The inaugural session of the conclave, organized by Nehru Arts and Science College in collaboration with the CANNY Consortium of Colleges and NGI Consortium of Colleges, began with a warm welcome by Dr. B. Anirudhan, Principal, followed by an insightful presidential address by Dr. H. N. Nagaraja, Executive Director, emphasizing holistic and sustainable education. Dr. N. Saranya, Organizing Secretary, concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks.
The event witnessed the participation of 42 colleges, 13 panelists, and 62 participants, including principals, educators, academic leaders, and researchers. Three panel discussions, moderated by Dr. B. Anirudhan, covered critical themes. Panel 1 focused on implementing the National Education Policy (NEP), Panel 2 explored integrating Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS), and Panel 3 addressed aligning education with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The discussions highlighted transformative strategies for holistic education, blending traditional wisdom, and fostering sustainability in modern education.
