Vision of NCC:

             To develop disciplined, responsible, and patriotic youth with leadership qualities, a spirit of service, and a commitment to national integrity and security.

Mission of NCC:

             To create a motivated and skilled youth force by imparting military training, character building, and leadership development, enabling cadets to serve the nation with dedication and responsibility.

Objectives:

  • To instill a sense of patriotism and national unity.
  • To develop leadership, discipline, and teamwork among cadets.
  • To provide basic military training and instill self-reliance.
  • To create awareness about social service and community development.
  • To nurture physical fitness, mental resilience, and ethical values.
  • To prepare youth for careers in the armed forces and other national services.

NASC NCC:

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) was established in 1948 under the National Cadet Corps Act, with the aim of grooming disciplined and patriotic youth. It is a tri-services organization, comprising the Army, Navy, and Air Force, that provides basic military training to students in schools and colleges. NCC is implemented by the Ministry of Defence, Government of India and plays a crucial role in instilling values of leadership, discipline, and national service among cadets.

The NCC aims to develop character, comradeship, and a spirit of adventure while nurturing social responsibility and a sense of national pride. It prepares youth for leadership roles in all walks of life, including the armed forces and civil services, through structured training and community engagement programs.
