The Department of Criminology & Forensic Science at Nehru Arts and Science College organized a guest lecture on “Gender Equity and Triple Six Crises” on December 18, 2024. Led by Adv. Anandhu Subrahmaniyan, Advocate at the High Court of Kerala, the session provided valuable insights into gender-related challenges, legal frameworks, and advocacy strategies. With active participation from students and faculty, the lecture fostered critical discussions on societal issues, enhancing awareness and professional perspectives. Aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 5: Gender Equality, which aims to end poverty, hunger, AIDS, and discrimination against women and girls, the event contributed to students’ academic growth, equipping them with essential knowledge for their future careers in criminology and forensic science.
