The Department of Costume Design and Fashion, under the
School of Creative Sciences, organised an engaging
Adjunct Professor Series Workshop and Seminar on the theme
“The Art & Science of Weaving” on
28th August 2025.
The resource person, Mrs. C. Anisha,
Department of Costume and Fashion Designing, Nirmala College of Arts and Science, Thrissur,
shared her expertise on weaving techniques, creative approaches, and the cultural
significance of traditional weaving practices.
The session provided hands-on learning opportunities, inspiring students to
explore weaving not only as an art but also as a sustainable skill.
