The Anti-Drug Club (ADC) at Nehru Arts and Science College is a student-driven initiative aimed at creating awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and fostering a drug-free academic environment. Functioning under the leadership of committed faculty and enthusiastic student representatives, the club plays a vital role in instilling values of health, responsibility, and social awareness among the student community.
. With a strong emphasis on awareness and education, the cell works to inform individuals, especially students, about the harmful effects of drugs and the importance of a healthy lifestyle. It conducts regular awareness programs, workshops, and counseling sessions in collaboration with health professionals, law enforcement, and rehabilitation centers. By creating an open and supportive platform, the cell encourages individuals to seek help without fear or stigma. It also monitors and addresses instances of drug use through confidential reporting and appropriate intervention. The Anti-Drug Cell believes in the power of preventive action, early intervention, and continuous engagement to combat the rising threat of drug abuse.
