About the Centre:

The Centre for Industry Relations (CIR) connects academic learning with real-world Industry practices to enhance student employability and professional growth. It collaborates with companies to offer Internships, Industrial visits, Training programmes, Guest Lectures, and Value Added Courses, giving students practical insights into various fields. CIR also supports faculty by facilitating Industry-Oriented research and Skill Development Programmes. Looking ahead, CIR aims to expand collaborations with global industries, to introduce more Industry-Driven certification courses, and integrate advanced technologies into learning. Strengthening entrepreneurship initiatives, the centre plans to support more student start-ups through mentorship and incubation. Enhancing placement opportunities remains a priority, with a focus on preparing students for diverse career paths. CIR also seeks to establish research partnerships that contribute to innovative solutions for industry challenges. Through continuous improvements and new initiatives, the centre will ensure students and faculty stay aligned with the evolving job market and industry expectations.

Mission:

To Nurture strong Industry-Academia collaboration by integrating real-world exposure into Academic Learning, enhancing employability through Skill-Based Training, Internships, and Industry Projects.

Objectives:

  1. Strengthen Industry-Academia collaboration through MOUs, Joint Research, and Guest Lectures
  2. Enhance employability by organizing industry-oriented training programs and certifications
  3. Facilitate Internships, Industrial visits, and live projects to provide real-world exposure
  4. Establish a strong placement ecosystem by connecting students with potential employers
  5. Promote entrepreneurship by supporting start-ups with incubation, funding, and mentorship
