About
The centre established during the academic year 1980-81, in order to provide trained professional human resource to address the burning issues like poverty, unemployment and other socio-economic issues and problems of the nation. It is an initiative aimed at addressing the multifaceted challenges faced by rural communities and promoting sustainable, inclusive development. Rooted in the belief that rural areas are integral to the country's overall growth, the CRD seeks to empower rural populations through education, healthcare, economic opportunities, and infrastructure development.

Vision:

To launch initiatives that create a clean, green, and beautiful village, to promote sustainable practices, tree planting, proper waste management and to engage the community in protecting and preserving the environment.       

Mission:

           The maxim is to strengthen the  Panchayat Raj system through empowerment of people representatives under development program through training.

Objective

  • To help rural communities by offering skills training, financial education, and job opportunities to improve their lives
  • To improve education in rural areas by organizing programs, providing learning materials, and working with local schools to increase literacy and access to education
  • To teach farmers in rural areas about eco-friendly farming methods, including organic farming, saving water, and growing crops that can handle changing weather conditions, to ensure healthy farming in the future
  • To raise awareness about healthcare, cleanliness, and mental health in rural areas, while also providing basic medical services
  • To support projects that improve things like clean water, electricity, better roads, and internet in rural areas, helping these communities grow and thrive
