ABOUT THE CENTRE
The Centre for Skill and Career Development (CSCD) at Nehru Arts and Science College serves as a comprehensive platform for enhancing student employability, fostering Entrepreneurship, offering consultancy services, and equipping students with industry-relevant skills. Established in 2019, the centre focuses on bridging the gap between academic learning and professional requirements.
CSCD operates through multiple specialized units, each dedicated to a key aspect of career and skill development:
Consultancy Services offer expert guidance and research-based solutions to industries, startups, and academic institutions. Faculty members engage in consultancy projects, providing innovative solutions to real-world challenges in biotechnology, business, environmental studies, and more.
The centre actively promotes internships, interdisciplinary projects, industry collaborations, and research initiatives, ensuring that students gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on expertise. By integrating skill development, career advancement, and consultancy services, CSCD plays a pivotal role in shaping competent professionals, successful entrepreneurs, and industry-ready graduates.
