Department of Electronics was established in the year of 2003 to improve the efficiency of the students. The department received the STAR status under DBT star college scheme in the year of 2019. The department provides well an equipped laboratory includes embedded systems, VLSI, Communication and Nanotechnology and instruments for research activity. Every year the department receives more number of university ranks and department offer 100% placement through our NCPIR campus placement cell. Our mission is to offer innovative and socially relevant job oriented course with a view to enhance the employment prospects of the learners. In carrying out our educational missions, we endeavor to upgrade the knowledge and the skills of the students striving hard towards excellence in all spheres of our activities.

The curriculum and syllabus for the programmes offered in the department are designed as per the Regulation of autonomous system. The curriculum is designed to achieve a balance between depth of knowledge acquired through specialization and breadth of knowledge gained through exploration. The undergraduate degree courses offered by the department provide a comprehensive foundation in the core topics of electronics coupled with areas of specialization relevant to emerging technical challenges.

Lab Infrastructure

Students are provided opportunity to apply the concepts learnt inside the classroom in the modern, well equipped laboratories of the Department of Electronics and Communication Systems. The experiments are designed such that the learning of the students is stimulated. In each laboratory course in the curriculum, the students are given an open choice of experiment named as ‘Mini project’ for that particular laboratory at the end of the course. This kindles the interest of the students in the knowing about the application of the devices concepts learnt in the course

Electronics Devices and Communication Lab

Electronics devices and Communication Lab is spacial and well equipped with the latest signal generators, oscilloscopes, digital trainer kits and measuring instruments. Students of various branches design and test their analog/digital/mixed signals, digital circuits as part of their curriculum. Its provides facilities for conducting undergraduate level experiments and mini projects in the area of Electronics devices and communication systems. Lab instruments that help the students understand the working and application of simple electronic circuits are conducted here and this lab is used to get familiarized with various ICs and utilize them in the implementation of digital circuits with analog and digital communication systems. Experiments are carried out to design and test electronic circuits for various applications. The lab has state of the art facilities and equipments with 17 work benches equipped with UPS connection. Embedded Systems and Signal Processing Lab

Embedded Systems and Signal Processing Lab is utilized by Undergraduate and Post Graduate students for getting familiarized with Microprocessor, Microcontroller, DSP Development Kits. This lab also facilitates students to simulate and implement their projects in the field of Embedded Systems. Signal Processing equipment provides sampling and aliasing, quantization, digital filter design and implementation.
