The Department of Food Science and Nutrition organized a Gender Sensitization Programme on Reforming Issues and Challenges on 13.06.2024. Mrs. G. Thilagavathi, Assistant Professor acted as the resource person. The programme focused on understanding the mind-set but also behaviour of treating people within the families and societies. A better understanding of the needs and interests of different groups of women and men were also conversed. About 29 students from undergraduation were benefitted from the programme.
