Inauguration of Standard Students Club in association with Bureau of Indian Standards, Coimbatore Chapter

Inauguration of Standards Students club NASC in association with BUREAU OF INDIAN STANDARDS (BIS)  was organised on 26.05.2022. Mr. V. Gopinath, Head & Scientist F, BIS Coimbatore branch and Mr. Rajeev (promotion officer) conducted an interactive session with students. The discussion regarding ISO standards was organized. A quiz session was also conducted later. Based on the marks scored by the students first three students were identified and were awarded with cash prize.

 Outcome of the Event: The students and teachers were imparted with the knowledge on consumer rights and the food safety and standards followed in India.
