About the Club:

Nehru Arts And Science College ,Youth Red Cross aims to serve towards humanitarian values that develops respect for other human beings and willingness to work together to find solutions to problems. Youth represent a substantial part of the membership of the Red Cross for its humanitarian commitment. Young volunteers can make a significant contribution to meeting the needs of the most vulnerable people within their local communities through the Red Cross youth Programme. This has been designed to involve young people as much as possible in the movement and its activities not only as workers, also as beneficiaries, and as partners in management. From the following seven fundamental principles, the movement aims to influence the behavior of people.

Vision: 

To provide opportunities to the youth: the makers of the future, to inculcate healthy living habits and to contribute their values to uplift our society.

 Mission:

 To prevent and alleviate suffering with complete impartiality, making no discrimination as to           nationality, race, sex, religious beliefs, language, class or political opinions.

Objectives:

  • Enable people to care for their own and others health
  • Make people understand and accept their civic responsibilities
  • Develop a spirit of service among the students and the public 
  • Foster better human relationships
