10-Day Industrial Tour to Delhi and Manali

The Department of Costume Design and Fashion organized a 10-day Industrial Tour to Delhi and Manali from 05-01-2026 to 14-01-2026 for the students. The main objective of the tour was to provide practical exposure to textile markets,traditional crafts, and cultural design practices.

During the visit to Delhi, students explored major garment and fabric markets where they observed a wide range of materials such as cotton, silk, wool blends, and synthetic fabrics.The tour offered valuable insights into sourcing, fabric quality assessment,and emerging fashion trends, thereby enhancing students’ practical knowledge and industry understanding.
