The Department of Forensic Science organized a Guest Lecture on “Scientific Examination and Interpretation of Biological Stains” for I M.Sc. Forensic Science students. The session aimed to enhance students’ understanding of the identification, collection, preservation, and
laboratory analysis of biological stains such as blood, semen, and saliva. The resource person explained modern analytical techniques, interpretation of results, and the evidentiary significance of biological stains in criminal investigations. Real case references and practical insights enriched the learning experience. The lecture strengthened students’ conceptual clarity, analytical skills, and professional competence, enabling them to better understand the scientific approach involved in forensic biological examinations
