The Department of languages (Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam) aligned with IKS Organized ‘International Mother Tongue Day.” Dr. S. Selvanayagi Head of Tamil Department Srikrishna Aditya College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. was the resource person.The programme featured highlighting the richness and unity of India’s multilingual heritage. It gave awareness about the importance of safeguarding mother languages and fostered respect for cultural roots and diversity. Students and faculty solemnly took a pledge to respect, preserve, and promote their mother tongues while upholding the rich linguistic and cultural heritage of the nation.
