Girl Child Protection Day

Nehru Centre for Women Excellence, in collaboration with the Internal Compliance Committee (ICC), organized a programme on “Girl Child Protection Day” on 24.02.2026. The event aimed to create awareness about equal opportunities in education, leadership, and career development, with a special focus on orientation regarding the Girl Child Protection Act. Through informative sessions, discussions, and interactive activities, students gained insights into the rights, safety, and empowerment of girls. The programme emphasized gender sensitivity, respect, and shared responsibility, motivating students to contribute towards building a fair, inclusive, and supportive society where every girl can thrive and succeed with dignity and confidence.
