The Department of Microbiology organised an invited talk on “Basics on First Aid and Mental Health” on 16th February 2026 for undergraduate students. The session was delivered by Mrs Heena Thasneem M. Assistant Professor, Nehru Institute of Health Science. The resource person provided a comprehensive overview of essential first-aid procedures, including CPR, handling unconsciousness, bleeding, and emergency response techniques. The session also addressed important aspects of mental well-being, focusing on stress management, emotional balance, and resilience in academic and personal life.
