Student Induction Programme and Alumni Guest lecture on “ Threads of success”

The Department of Costume Design and Fashion organized a Student Induction Programme and Alumni Guest Lecture on 03-07-2026 for the newly admitted students. The programme aimed to motivate students by introducing them to the opportunities and expectations in the field of fashion. The guest lecture was delivered by Ms. Josalin Jemima Gnanamary, Assis-tant Professor in Fashion Design, The American College, Madurai, on the theme “Threads of Success.” She shared her academic and professional journey, emphasizing the importance of creativity, dedication, and continuous learning in building a successful career in the fashion industry. She also highlighted various career opportunities and encouraged students to strengthen both their technical and professional skills. The interactive session inspired the students to pursue their academic and career goals with confidence.
