Department of Criminology and Forensic Science, School of Investigative Science and Technology, Nehru Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Coimbatore, organized a Guest Lecture on “Cyber Crime & IT Act: Understanding Digital Offences and Legal Framework” on 10 July 2026.The session was delivered by Adv. Sunish Monci Chervathoor, Assistant Professor, Department of Law, KMCT Law College, Kuttippuram, who provided valuable insights into cybercrime, digital offences, the Information Technology Act, 2000, cyber investigation procedures, electronic evidence, and legal remedies for victims. Through real-life case studies and practical examples, the lecture enhanced students’ understanding of cybercrime investigation and the legal framework governing digital offences.
