About the Event

The Department of Microbiology organized a Professor of Practice session on 12.08.2026 for II M.Sc. and III B.Sc. students on the topic “Clinical Diagnostics and Immunology”. The resource person was Dr. S. Rajkumar, Director, Micro Tech LAB & Research (OPC) Pvt. Ltd., Coimbatore. He delivered an insightful session on modern clinical diagnostic techniques, specimen collection, quality control, and immunological tests used in disease detection. The programme provided students with practical exposure and valuable industry insights, effectively bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical applications. The interactive session enhanced students’ understanding and encouraged them to explore career opportunities in clinical diagnostics and immunology.
