About the Event
The Department of Information Technology organized a Guest Lecture on “Quantum Computing & Its Applications” to introduce students to the fundamentals and emerging trends in quantum computing. The session was delivered by Dr. S. Gnanapriya, who explained concepts such as qubits, superposition, and quantum computing applications in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, healthcare, and finance. The interactive session strengthened students’ understanding of quantum technologies and encouraged them to explore future possibilities. The event enhanced awareness of next-generation computing, improved analytical thinking through expert interaction, and motivated students to pursue advanced learning, research, and innovation in emerging technologies.
