Onam – Celebration – 2026

About the Event

Nehru Arts and Science College, Coimbatore, celebrated the vibrant festival of Onam on 21^st August 2026 with great enthusiasm and cultural splendor. The campus came alive with the spirit of festivity, unity, and tradition, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Kerala. The celebrations commenced with a traditional Pookalam (floral carpet) designed by students, showcasing creativity and artistry. The fragrance of fresh flowers filled the campus with festive cheer. The highlight of the event was the cultural performances by students, which included Thiruvathira dance, Pullikali, Onam songs, skits, and folk performances. These performances beautifully captured the essence of Onam, celebrating togetherness, prosperity, and harmony.
