Jñāna Darśan –School-wise Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) Expo

About the Event

The Jñāna Darśan Expo successfully promoted an interdisciplinary understanding of Indian Knowledge Systems by bringing together different academic Schools of the institution. It enabled students and faculty to connect their respective disciplines with India’s traditional knowledge, cultural practices, and indigenous innovations. The activity enhanced student engagement, creativity, teamwork, research orientation and presentation skills, while encouraging participants to explore the relevance of traditional knowledge in contemporary academic and social contexts. The participation of different Schools also strengthened interdisciplinary collaboration within the institution and created a common platform for sharing knowledge across disciplines. Overall, the expo contributed to the documentation, appreciation, and dissemination of Indian Knowledge Systems and strengthened the IKS Centre’s role in integrating India’s knowledge heritage with contemporary higher education.
