About the Event

The Nehru Arts and Science College, School of Computational Sciences, Department of Computer Applications, in association with Coders Club, organized TECH DEBATE 2026 on 01 September 2026 at the Seminar Hall, C Block. The event focused on the topic “Artificial Intelligence Will Replace Human Jobs”, providing SOCS students with an engaging platform to discuss the impact of Artificial Intelligence on employment and the future workforce. Students actively participated by presenting their views, supporting their arguments with relevant examples, and responding to opposing viewpoints through rebuttal. The event effectively enhanced students’ communication, critical thinking, logical reasoning, teamwork, confidence, and public speaking skills, while encouraging them to develop a broader understanding of emerging technologies and their influence on society and careers.
