About the Event

The seminar on “Transforming Education: Innovative Teaching and Learning Methods” was organized to familiarize faculty members with diverse and effective approaches to enhance the teaching – learning process. Dr. S. Saraswathi, Dean – Academic Affairs, Nehru Arts and Science College (Autonomous) served as the Resource Person and shared valuable insights on adopting innovative and learner – centred pedagogies. The session covered Group Teaching and Learning, Lecture-Based Learning, Individual Learning, Inquiry-Based Learning, Kinesthetics Learning, Game-Based Learning and Expeditionary Learning. The resource person explained how these approaches can promote active participation, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, experiential learning and better student engagement. The session encouraged faculty members to integrate suitable innovative methods into their classroom practices to enhance the overall quality and effectiveness of teaching and learning.
