Industrial visit to Chandro Process

About the Event

The Department of Costume Design and Fashion, School of Creative Sciences, Nehru Arts and Science College, organized an industrial visit to Chandro Process, Tirupur, on 15.09.2026 for I, II, and III B.Sc. Costume Design and Fashion students. The visit provided students with practical exposure to textile processing and industrial production practices. Students observed various stages of textile processing, machinery operations, quality control, and finishing techniques. The interaction with industry professionals helped them understand workplace practices, safety measures, and sustainable approaches in textile processing. The visit effectively bridged classroom learning with industrial applications, enhanced students’ technical knowledge, developed industry awareness, and encouraged them to understand career opportunities in the textile and fashion industry.
