About the Event
The Department of Computer Applications successfully organized the EVS Educational Field trip 2026 on 15.09.2026. The educational field trip to the TNAU Botanical Garden was organized as part of the Environmental Studies (EVS) curriculum to provide students with practical exposure to plant diversity, biodiversity, and ecosystem conservation. Students explored various plant species, medicinal plants, ornamental plants, trees, and different garden sections. The visit helped them connect classroom concepts with real-world environmental practices and understand the importance of plants in maintaining ecological balance. The visit enhanced their observation skills, environmental awareness, and appreciation of nature. It also encouraged students to understand the importance of protecting plants and ecosystems for a sustainable future.
