The Department of Catering Science and Hotel Management organized an educational tour titled “Beyond the Classroom: A Journey of Discovery Through Coorg, Mysore & Bangalore” for its students. The tour provided valuable exposure to the cultural heritage, tourism attractions, hospitality practices, and natural beauty of Karnataka. Students visited prominent destinations and gained firsthand knowledge of tourism and hospitality operations. The experiential learning opportunity helped students connect theoretical knowledge with real-world experiences while enhancing their understanding of destination management, cultural heritage, regional cuisine, and hospitality services. The journey was an enriching and memorable experience that broadened students’ perspectives, strengthened their industry awareness, and promoted learning beyond the classroom.
