Career Guidance Program in Health- Care Industry: Medical Coding

The Department of Biotechnology, School of Life Sciences, Nehru Arts and Science College organized a Career Guidance Program on “Medical Coding” to familiarize students with emerging career opportunities in the healthcare industry. The session was led by Mr. S. Syed Samiullah, In-charge of Placement & Orientation and Head Operations at Professional Info Tech, Coimbatore. He The interactive session also highlighted training pathways, certification options, and real-time industry expectations. The program enhanced students’ understanding of medical coding, clarified career opportunities and required skills, and motivated them to pursue training, improving their employability in the healthcare sector.
