The Department of Food Science and Nutrition organized a Career Guidance Programme titled “Eat Well, Live Well, Lead Well: Discover Careers in Nutrition” for school students, aiming to create awareness about the diverse and rewarding career opportunities in the field of nutrition and dietetics. The programme introduced students to the importance of nutrition in promoting health, preventing diseases, and improving quality of life. Through engaging presentations and interactive sessions, students gained insights into various career pathways such as Clinical Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition, Sports Nutrition, Food Science, Food Safety, Research, and Wellness Consulting. The session highlighted the growing demand for qualified nutrition professionals in hospitals, educational institutions, research organizations, food industries, and community health sectors.
