CENTRE FOR DIGITAL LEARNING

ABOUT THE CENTRE

The Centre for Digital Learning, established in the academic year 2019–2020, serves as a hub for advancing digital education and promoting technology-enhanced learning. The Centre operates through seven specialized units, each with a distinct focus and objective. These units include NPTEL-SWAYAM, Spoken Tutorial, Swayam Prabha, and various MOOC platforms such as Infosys Springboard, Swayam Plus, NASSCOM, L&T Edu Tech, and Coursera.

Each unit is guided by a Convenor who is responsible for planning, monitoring, and ensuring the effective implementation of its activities. To ensure smooth coordination and efficient execution, the units are further supported by student coordinators and department-level coordinators. These coordinators play a key role in communication, organizing activities, and facilitating participation across departments.

Through this well-structured and collaborative framework, the Centre for Digital Learning strives to empower both faculty and students by fostering the effective integration of digital tools, online platforms, and technology-driven resources. Implementation of Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) in Alignment with NEP 2020 In accordance with the guidelines of NEP 2020, the college has taken significant strides toward implementing the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC). All students have successfully registered and possess unique ABC IDs. Additionally, the End Semester marks for the 2021–2024, 2022–2025, and 2023–2026 batches have been uploaded to the NAD portal. To ensure effective adoption of the ABC system, faculty members are actively engaged in Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) and workshops. Regular reinforcement through Dean, HoD, and staff meetings further promotes awareness and integration of ABC. Students are encouraged to earn a minimum of 10 credits annually through various online platforms and initiatives, including SWAYAM, NPTEL, V-Labs, Coursera, IIT Spoken Tutorial, and Student Exchange Programmes. These efforts aim to enhance academic flexibility, interdisciplinary learning, and lifelong education, aligning with the transformative vision of NEP 2020. UGC NEP SAARTHIs
