Exploring Nature: EVS Field Visit to Anaikatti

About the Event

The Department of Catering Science and Hotel Management, Nehru Arts and Science College, successfully organized an Exploring Nature: EVS Field Visit to Anaikatti on 10.08.2026 for the I B.Sc. Catering Science and Hotel Management students as part of the Environmental Studies (EVS) subject. The visit provided students with an opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of the natural environment, biodiversity, ecosystems, and the importance of environmental conservation. Through direct observation and experiential learning, students developed a better understanding of ecological balance, natural resources, and the need for sustainable environmental practices. The field visit effectively connected classroom learning with real-world environmental experiences and enhanced students’ awareness of protecting and preserving nature.
