The Department of Costume Design and Fashion successfully organized an Extension Activity for the Women’s Self-Help Group in Pollachi on 02.02.2026. The objective of the programme was to provide practical knowledge and skill-based training in pattern blouse designing. 15 students actively participated in the activity and demonstrated various blouse pattern techniques to the beneficiaries. The session was effectively guided by Ms. D. Suryaprabha, Assistant Professor, Department of Costume Design and Fashion, who provided technical support and guidance throughout the training. The programme significantly enhanced the practical exposure of students while empowering women participants with valuable tailoring and garment construction skills.
