Faculty Refresher Programme on “Personal Empowerment for Emergency Preparedness and Response Programme” – The Department of Social Work has organized one day Staff Refresher Programme in association with Alert NGO, Coimbatore. The Programme gave an insight about the growth of Alert NGO and its impact among public. It has also gave an learning about the basic emergency preparedness to handle critical situation and proper response procedure to save life of people in trauma care. The programme made the faculties to understand about the importance of golden hour to save people in emergency during accidents, sudden attack and physical injuries. On the whole the refresher programme created an impact about saving life.
