Industrial Visit

About the Event

The Department of Microbiology, Nehru Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Coimbatore, organized one-day industrial visit for the EDC students of Vermitechnology Practical and Mushroom cultivation Technology Practical to Integrated Rural Technology Centre, Mundur, Palakkad, to provide hands-on exposure to commercial mushroom cultivation, vermicompost production and its entrepreneurial potential. Participants observed substrate preparation, composting methods, spawn production, cultivation practices, harvesting, and quality management. The visit enhanced practical knowledge, environmental awareness, and understanding of eco-friendly entrepreneurship opportunities in organic farming.
