About the Event
The Department of Costume Design and Fashion, School of Creative Sciences, Nehru Arts and Science College (Autonomous), organized an International Seminar on “Sustainability in Fashion through Metaverse” on 06 August 2026. Dr. Aravin Periyasamy, Scientist and Adjunct Professor, Tampere University of Applied Sciences, Finland, delivered the session. The seminar provided valuable insights into sustainable fashion, digital innovation, and Metaverse technologies, enhancing Students’ knowledge and inspiring them to explore future-oriented and environmentally responsible fashion practices.
The seminar enhanced Students’ knowledge of sustainable fashion and the application of Metaverse technologies in the fashion industry. It inspired students to explore innovative, technology-driven, and environmentally responsible fashion solutions.
