About the Event
The Department of French organized an Invited Talk on “La cuisine française et le vocabulaire culinaire” on 17 August 2026 for I B.Sc. Catering Science and Hotel Management students. Ms. Dayamrutha M. Kannan, Assistant Professor in French, PSG Arts and Science College, Coimbatore, was the resource person. The session introduced French cuisine, culinary traditions, ingredients, cooking methods, and professional vocabulary. Students gained basic culinary vocabulary, enhanced their awareness of French gastronomy, and understood the relevance of French language skills in the hospitality industry.
