The Centre for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Nehru Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Coimbatore, organized a two-day programme titled “Responsible Consumer Awareness and Smart Purchase Exercises” on 2 and 3 September 2026 at the Volleyball Ground. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about consumer rights, responsible consumption, and informed purchasing decisions. Through smart purchase exercises, students were encouraged to compare product quality and prices, evaluate value for money, and make informed buying choices. The initiative enhanced students’ consumer awareness and decision-making skills while promoting responsible purchasing habits and sustainable consumption practices aligned with SDGs 4, 5, 9, 10, and 17.
