About the Event

The Youth Red Cross of Nehru Arts and Science College in association with the Indian Red Cross Society, Coimbatore District Branch and PSG Urban Health Training Center, Department of Community Medicine, organized an awareness programme titled “Save Lives, Prevent Disease: An Integrated Awareness Programme on Suicide Prevention, First Aid, Substance Abuse and Cancer Prevention” on 24 September 2026 at the D Block Seminar Hall. The programme was conducted to create awareness among students about suicide prevention, basic first aid, substance abuse, and cancer prevention. Dr. Prajeet CP, Department of Community Medicine, PSG IMSR served as the resource person and shared valuable insights and practical guidance with the participants.
