About the Event
The programme was organized to create awareness about suicide prevention and promote mental health and emotional well-being among students and staff. The programme emphasized the importance of recognizing warning signs, providing emotional support, reducing stigma, and encouraging individuals to seek timely professional help. The event included awareness activities and interactive sessions that highlighted the importance of compassion, active listening, positive relationships, and creating a supportive campus environment. Students were encouraged to look out for one another, speak openly about emotional difficulties, and seek help whenever needed. The programme served as a meaningful initiative to promote a caring, supportive, and suicide-prevention-focused campus community, reinforcing the message that every life is valuable and that help and hope are always possible.
