Workshop On Creative Flower Arrangements

About the Event

The Department of Catering Science and Hotel Management, Nehru Arts and Science College, successfully organized a Workshop on Creative Flower Arrangements on 18.09.2026 for the I B.Sc. Catering Science and Hotel Management students as part of the Accommodation Operation subject. The workshop aimed to provide students with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in the art of floral decoration. Students learned about different types of flowers, foliage, colour combinations, basic principles of flower arrangement, and various creative techniques. The session encouraged students to explore their creativity and develop aesthetic skills. The activity also enhanced their confidence and practical knowledge in decorating hotel rooms, public areas, restaurants, banquets, and special event spaces.
