The School of Commerce, Nehru Arts and Science College (Autonomous), organized a One Day National Conference on “Sectoral Analysis of Growth Potential in the Major Economic Industries After the GST” on 12.03.2026 at the “A Block Seminar Hall”. The conference was sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR–SRC), Ministry of Education, Hyderabad, with a financial assistance of ₹50,000. The Programme aimed to encourage academic research and enhance student’s understanding of the impact of GST on various sectors of the Indian economy. Students actively presented research papers and shared their ideas on the growth opportunities and challenges faced by major industries after the implementation of GST. The conference provided a useful platform for knowledge sharing and helped students improve their research and presentation skills.
