About the Event
The first session, titled “Orientation on NAAC Reforms,” was delivered by Dr. V. Vijayakumar, Principal. He provided a clear overview of the new NAAC Accreditation Framework, highlighting the rationale behind the reforms and the shift towards a transparent, technology-driven, and evidence-based evaluation system. He emphasized institutional preparedness, systematic documentation, faculty participation, and continuous quality improvement, while stressing the importance of aligning academic and administrative practices with NEP 2020.
The second session was led by Dr. S. Saraswathi, Dean – Academic Affairs, on “Innovative Teaching and Learning Initiatives.” She shared practical strategies for enhancing classroom engagement through student-centric pedagogy, experiential learning, blended approaches, digital tools, and Outcome-Based Education (OBE). She encouraged faculty members to adopt innovative teaching practices that foster critical thinking, creativity, active participation, and lifelong learning while ensuring meaningful and measurable learning outcomes.
