About the Event
The Department of Digital and Cyber Forensic Science (DCFS), School of Information Science and Technology (SOIST), Nehru Arts and Science College, organized a two-day workshop titled “Cyber Crime Investigation: From Incident to Investigation” on 18.08.2026 and 19.08.2026 at DIII – Lab 15. The workshop aimed to provide participants with knowledge of cybercrime investigation, digital evidence acquisition, forensic methodologies, legal procedures, and investigative practices. Mr. Praveen K served as the Resource Person and conducted expert-led sessions and practical demonstrations. The workshop enhanced students’ understanding of digital evidence handling, forensic tools, investigation methodologies, and legal aspects of cybercrime investigation.
