About the Event

The seminar successfully bridged theoretical learning and experiential engagement, creating awareness of the diversity and continuity of India’s folk, oral, and ritual traditions. It helped participants understand traditional performing arts as important repositories of indigenous knowledge, cultural memory, community values and artistic practices. The programme also encouraged appreciation, documentation and preservation of India’s intangible cultural heritage and strengthened the role of Indian Knowledge Systems in contemporary higher education and interdisciplinary learning.
