Industrial Visit Cum Educational Tour

About the Event

The Department of Information Technology, Nehru Arts and Science College, Coimbatore, organized an Industrial Visit and Educational Tour for the students on 05 August 2026. The programme was planned to provide students with practical exposure to the IT industry and an opportunity to connect their classroom learning with real-world applications. Following the industrial visit, the students also visited several important historical, cultural, spiritual, and natural destinations. The industrial visit was organized at Zephyr Technologies and Solutions, where the students were given an opportunity to understand the professional environment of the IT industry. As part of the industrial visit session, Mr. Aniruth P S, handled an informative session on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The Industrial Visit and Educational Tour was a valuable, informative, and memorable learning experience. The session on AI and AI/ML by Mr. Aniruth P S added significant academic value to the industrial visit by introducing students to one of the most rapidly developing areas of technology. The subsequent tour to Dandeli, Gokarna Beach, Mirjan Fort, Murudeshwar Temple, Krishna Temple, and Malpe Beach provided students with opportunities for cultural learning, environmental awareness, recreation, and team bonding.The programme successfully combined industrial exposure, technological learning, experiential education, cultural awareness, and recreation, contributing to the overall academic and personal development of the students.
