About the Event
International Youth Day- Capacity Building Programme – The Department of Social Work has organized a First Aid and Road Safety Awareness Programme on 14.08.2026 to promote safety and emergency preparedness among students to create awareness about basic first aid practices and responsible road behaviour. Resource persons explained how to respond effectively to common accidents and medical emergencies. Students were demonstrated essential first aid techniques, including wound care, bandaging, and basic emergency response. The programme encouraged students to become responsible road users and safety ambassadors in the community.
