Traffic Control Campaign

About the Event

The NSS Unit of Nehru Arts and Science College organized a Traffic Control Campaign with the objective of promoting road safety awareness and encouraging responsible traffic behavior among the public. NSS volunteers actively assisted the traffic police in regulating vehicular movement at busy road junctions and educated motorists, pedestrians, and students on the importance of following traffic rules. They emphasized the use of helmets and seat belts, adherence to traffic signals, avoidance of mobile phone usage while driving, and the dangers of drunken driving and over-speeding. Through this campaign, the volunteers fostered a sense of civic responsibility, enhanced public awareness about road safety, and contributed to creating a safer and more disciplined traffic environment.
