Workshop on Sketch and Shoot

About the Event

The Department of Costume Design and Fashion organized a workshop on “Sketch and Shoot” on 16.09.2026 to enhance students’ creative and practical skills in fashion sketching and photography. The workshop provided students with hands-on exposure to developing fashion concepts through sketches and translating those concepts into visually appealing photographs. Students learned about creative composition, styling, posing, lighting, presentation, and effective visual communication. The interactive sessions encouraged students to explore their creativity and understand the relationship between fashion illustration and fashion photography. The workshop strengthened students’ technical knowledge, artistic confidence, observation skills, and professional presentation abilities, preparing them for industry-oriented fashion design and photography practices.
