About the Event
As part of the observance of the World Alzheimer’s Day, The Department of Social Work, in association with Nehru College of Nursing and Research Institute, organized a World Alzheimer’s Day awareness programme on 22.09.2026 for MSW and Nursing students. The programme aimed to enhance understanding of Alzheimer’s disease, its symptoms, risk factors, prevention, and the role of healthcare professionals and caregivers in supporting individuals with dementia. The programme was addressed by Ms. Janani Prabhakaran, Physician Associate, Bodhi Mind Care Hospital, Coimbatore.
